Absolutely.
Your personal vows are yours to write and speak in your own voice, but I'm happy to provide guidance if you'd like it. Your ceremony itself is a separate piece, the words I write to frame your story, welcome your guests, introduce your vows, and guide the ceremony from beginning to end.

All love stories are honored here:
Traditional Denominational: Honoring the distinct, formal church traditions, and rich heritage of your established branch of faith.
Non-Denominational: Faith-centered and honoring core Christian traditions, without being tied to a rigid church brand.
Spiritual: Nature-infused, atmospheric, and deeply reverent, honoring the universe and the broader energy of your connection.
Civil (Legal-Only): A sleek, minimalist, and completely modern meeting focused strictly on executing your official paperwork and solemnizing your marriage under California state law without the noise of a grand production.
Blended & Interfaith: Seamlessly weaving contrasting cultural traditions or family backgrounds into a beautiful, harmonious union on neutral ground.
Secular: Centered entirely on human connection, raw storytelling, and your shared history with zero religious text.
Commitment Ceremonies: An elegant, deeply intentional celebration of your promises and partnership, focused entirely on the raw poetry of your vows and the presence of your inner circle, without the need for state legal paperwork.
Inclusive & LGBTQ+: Fiercely protecting and joyfully celebrating love in every single beautiful configuration it takes
Whether you want a modern love story celebration, a ceremony outdoors, or a blend of your family histories, your ceremony is built from scratch so it sounds entirely like you. Your special day deserves to be and should be honored.

Yes.
Once you provide your valid California marriage license, I complete the officiant's portion following the ceremony and return it to the county that issued it within the ten days required by California Family Code §359.
Your part is obtaining the marriage license before the ceremony and presenting it to me on the wedding day. From there, I'll take care of the officiant portion and its return to the issuing county.

Absolutely, and this is one of my favorite things to do.
While Orthodox sacraments that require clergy from a specific faith, such as a Catholic Mass or a Sikh Anand Karaj are not performed on their own, we love weaving cultural elements into a ceremony on neutral ground.
The lasso and arras, a glass breaking, a hand-fasting cord, a ring warming. If you'd like a faith leader from your tradition to offer a blessing or reading, space for them will joyfully be welcomed and honored.

Paperwork is taken equally as seriously as the ceremony!
If there's a mistake at the ceremony: California does not allow cross-outs, white-out, or alterations on a marriage license. If an error is spotted before signing, the first steps are to stop and contact the county about a duplicate rather than risk a rejected license. Catching it in the moment is far easier than correcting it later.
If an error is discovered after filing: California provides a process for amending a registered marriage record through the county. We'll walk you through it and stay with you until it's resolved.
If the license doesn't appear to have been recorded: Verus & Vow™, LLC always keeps record of when and how your license was returned. If you don’t see evidence that your marriage has been recorded after the county’s normal processing period, let us know. We’ll help you determine the appropriate next step with the issuing county.

I don't formally offer structured coaching, but I am deeply passionate about helping you cherish what you have and ensuring you never lose sight of it during this process. Wedding planning can bring up a lot of real life adjustments, and I am always glad to be a steady, supportive presence to talk through those changes where I can.
With that said, I am not a licensed therapist or marriage counselor. If an area surfaces during our preparation that truly deserves dedicated, clinical care, I'll gently set our ceremony work aside and help you find a professional who is qualified. You deserve the right person for the right thing, and my ultimate commitment is ensuring your relationship is completely supported, even when that means that person isn't me.
